The company was formed in 1999 to continue the investment and other business activities of the Granisle Group of Companies in the United States.

Dominion Capital Ventures, Inc., with main offices in Vancouver, Canada and Yuma, Arizona is controlled by Christopher T. Hall who is also principal of the Canadian-based Granisle Group of Companies. 

Dominion Capital Ventures specializes in the acquisition, development, leasing, and management of investment-quality, income-producing properties. Through its principals and affiliates, the company delivers a diversified set of real estate capabilities, including construction, asset management, property management, leasing and marketing. Investment capital has been mainly provided by Canadian investors through limited partnerships established to undertake individual projects.

In each of its real estate projects, the company provides an ongoing commitment to providing the highest investment returns possible while delivering experienced management and providing timely, informative reporting to investor partners.

The principals of Dominion derive a significant percentage of their compensation through profit sharing with investors, so the principals’ interests are compatible with those of its clients, and providing the company with an incentive to perform on a timely basis. Investors have priority in cash distributions, whereby they are entitled to repayment of invested capital and a preferred return prior to participation by the company.
